I am an attorney, published author, and fundraiser who

guides organizations and individual philanthropists with practical action plans to achieve their vision.  Fundraising strategies, science, and technology have changed, so I go about this work with an equally updated approach by incorporating the hard science, the art, and the many innovations from the field.

My journey through law school was committed to public interest. I worked in foreclosure prevention in New York City, in international human rights at the Netherlands School of Human Rights Research, and advocated for medical sex abuse victims in the Pacific Northwest.

Shortly after law school, I dedicated myself to helping nonprofits find sustainable sources of support through individual philanthropic gifts. I raised nearly $22 million in outright, complex, and deferred gifts in less than 5 years while also creating and implementing qualification, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for my institutions. Throughout my fundraising career, I've helped hundreds of philanthropists structure their long-term philanthropy through a variety of charitable giving vehicles and my goal is to ensure charitable and legacy plans accomplish all that a donor envisions.

In addition to my JD, I have a Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University and the Chartered Advisors in Philanthropy accreditation. I am a member of the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
